From headline cards to trend and style recaps, I curate social-first content that stops the scroll and sparks conversation. These posts performed, broke records, drove referral traffic, and lit up timelines on socials.

From pitching culture-rich stories to capturing on-set moments, I’ve helped shape The Melanin Edit’s storytelling by amplifying artistry, representation, and beauty through a neurodivergent and culturally conscious lens.

Pitched and wrote a standout profile on Haitian digital artist Vegalia Jean-Pierre, spotlighting her creation of Procreate tools designed to make Black hair textures more visible in digital art—a first-of-its-kind solution celebrated across Allure’s platforms.
On-Set Editorial Contributions
Developed the concept for Beauty & The Bodega, a vibrant editorial that explored the cultural role of bodegas in beauty, community, and identity for NYC residents. Interviewed models on-set and captured their personal ties to these spaces, blending nostalgia with modern beauty storytelling.

Served as a creative contributor and on-site correspondent for events and panels like Netflix x Allure: Clips & Conversations and Allure x Black Beauty Roster, filming and editing short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok that amplified conversations about representation in beauty spaces.

Selected as on-camera talent for Allure’s branded partnership with Amazon, I appeared across a multi-video campaign spotlighting Best of Beauty award winners. Beyond talent participation, I collaborated with producers and directors to refine voiceover language, ensuring scripts felt natural, credible, and aligned with my editorial instincts.
Supporting both creative authenticity and production efficiency, I provided personal wardrobe and styling to maintain visual continuity while contributing to a streamlined shoot environment.
The campaign resulted in six social-first videos (one currently under embargo), designed to drive product awareness while maintaining Allure’s authority and audience trust.

Braid-Out Performance: Definition, Moisture Retention, and Hold
The foam felt sticky in my hands at first, but that didn’t translate once it dried into my hair. It gave my braid-out noticeable shine and softness, especially after setting overnight. By morning, my hair felt smooth, hydrated, and held its shape, making it a strong option for defining and maintaining a braid-out.

For Netflix x Allure: Clips + Conversations, a cross-industry event celebrating the intersection of beauty and entertainment, I managed the full logistics process for over 60+ branded gift bags—from assembly to delivery at the Allure Store.
Working across departments, I coordinated timing, inventory, and quality control to ensure all guest materials reflected Allure’s premium brand standards. While the project’s focus was operational, I maintained an eye for creative detail—ensuring every touchpoint, from packaging to presentation, supported the larger storytelling experience between Netflix and Allure.

Executive Social Media + Brand Support
From 2022 to 2024, I served as the on-the-ground social media manager and brand handler for Allure’s Editor-in-Chief, overseeing her digital content strategy, on-set logistics, and event visibility. Acting as both creative producer and executive support, I captured, edited, and delivered day-of content across major brand moments—from the Best of Beauty Awards to live activations and industry events.
Beyond content capture, I coordinated with her stylist and MUA, managed product deliveries, and maintained alignment with Allure’s visual and editorial standards. Between 2023 and 2025, I expanded that role into cross-platform social assistance for Allure and SELF’s social media teams—bridging editorial, branded, and audience development goals.
At the intersection of executive visibility and brand storytelling, I built systems that kept creativity and consistency in sync—online and off.

For the third consecutive year, I supported Allure’s Best of Beauty Live! as executive and brand support for the Editor-in-Chief. My role spanned logistics management, glam coordination, and real-time content capture—ensuring every detail aligned with Allure’s tone and visual standards. Acting as the bridge between production, branded content, and social teams, I maintained day-of flow while keeping brand storytelling front and center.
